Staff and game masters are fucking volunteers. We are players who enjoyed this server enough to take on responsibility for its upkeep and you just fucking ragged on us for us not doing our “jobs” well enough for you. It’s the middle of the school year, both gms and staff are mainly under the age of 18, and those that are in most likely in high school or a bit below, they have IRL commitments, we can’t drop everything and spend time only on the server. Frankly I love being staff, I get to help the community I’ve spend a fuckton of time in and keep it running, along with the other staff that bust their asses because they want the server to be the best possible. Not to mention, again, WE ARE VOLUNTEERS! We like to play and RP and duel and just chill sometimes. If no one is taking a sit I can agree it’s a problem and unlikely every staff is unoccupied, but we aren’t perfect, we don’t see tickets sometimes with the flood of chat or with other distractions. It frustrates me quite a bit when people criticize the staff team as a whole for the mistakes of a few people, or just the fact that we aren’t committing every second of our time on the server to taking your sit where you complain for 10 minutes, then we end it with a verbal warn you get mad at us for. Like I said, we’re not perfect, we miss sits, it happens. But we’re trying and without us there would be minges and people being actually toxic, running rampant. Again we aren’t perfect and I know this post is angry looking. I’ve been unhappy with how ungrateful some people are that we even spend our time doing a second job for free so they can enjoy their time more.
