There are two ways non-serious players go about their time on the server.

1 - Casually
2 - Annoyingly

Literally, you fall into one of these two categories if you play non-seriously. I have yet to meet someone who is different. Clucky, in my opinion, falls under category 1 as he actually tries to not annoy people and instead just casually plays the server cracking jokes frequently. There is nothing wrong with that (though I don't think anyone really had a problem with Clucky in the first place). This thread was made for a reason, honestly, if you feel pressured enough to change your entire way you play the server cause of public opinion take a step back and realize ITS A GAME. Games are meant to be fun, forcing yourself to have fun is not fun at all. Just play a different game at that point. Don't force yourself to have fun cause eventually you will crack and begin to annoy others.

having fun:
like letting non active Jedi into a tournament because overall we are a community and being exclusive is not the point. I agree with you, your philosophy on the server is dead on. a game and the second you forget how to play or take a demotion personally it is time for a break. I only play reborn because of the community that was created for players and although some are genuinely annoying I am always honest with them short of the point of being rude. my advice to everyone is be yourself. 1. nobody can tell you are doing it wrong 2. you will attract genuine people with a similar personality. if someone does not like you for you, that is ok. I like plenty of people on the server who hate me and try to get me banned, exiled etc. There is plenty to do and nobody needs to be harping on each other. think of REBORN as a single player game set in a mmo, where you are currently is entirely your decision. whatever you plan to do, do it for fun and not spite. also Clucky could wreck you with a little more training. congrats on cot.
