Before we start, I feel like it is necessary to get some a few facts out of the way: Jaeger MSGed Shepard about the situation where Shepard generally responded along the lines of "There can only be 1 bounty hunter taking part in the OT." This was what directly sparked the conversation about if the OT should be reversed. According to those in the call the general consensus that was agreed on was that whilst Shepard did state that it wasn't allowed, the rule was going to be changed and the PK would stand.
That is not OK. If a rule has been made and then after it is broken it is decided to be changed, it is only logical for the rule to be seen as well...A rule until it is SPECIFICALLY CHANGED to state otherwise! When a rule is made on the spot just to deal with a situation like this, it feels less like order and more like favoritism. A line needs to be drawn and that's what rules are for, you can't then redraw the line when someone crosses over it.
This next bit may become a bit more opinionated but still in my mind is important. This server has always been about the skill of the individual and the leadership that they have. Overthrows show three thing about the new potential emperor: 1. Combat ability 2. Ability as a leader and 3. Willingness to PUT SOMETHING ON THE LINE Now hell I may be crazy, but in my mind putting two bounty hunters on some far away cliff and getting them BOTH to use extremely powerful snipers on someone in a warp menu does not show leadership, combat ability and most certainly does not put much on the line. I feel like this in short ruins the type of combat that makes reborn enjoyable, and just like how many complain about troopers I feel like the same needs to be said about these situations.
To conclude, I don't want it to be made out that this is simply a post made because of me disliking Jump or liking Rocky, I want it to be made clear that this post is being made to draw attention to the situation in full and high light how the actions performed contradict what was said.
