The plan to save reborn. Stage 1.5 suggestions

Some believe the server is vulnerable. I do not like saying that but i have seen this coming for some time.

In an effort to bridge the gap between content maker and content users. I think we can take this time to appreciate something we enjoy on the server and maybe provide some suggestion going forward.

The first is really up to Staff/Faction leaders to determine if purpose is more important than pride or priviledge. With purpose people pursue and grind and with pride or priviledge they are stagnant and become a detriment to progress. not preaching. just my personal experience. A few people left REBORN to start their own server. maybe it is in hopes of making a server like REBORN without all the bad. but in retrospect REBORN inspired them.

we all had good experiences...f hilarious situations and met good people here.

so what should operation 1.5 be?

why? because of pride and privilege

pride would be taking out of the context of purpose. in this case i refer to false pride, ie someone taking credit for others hard work. False Pride should not be an elevator for promotions and success. cutting a good promo like you are in the wwe and acting like you are loyal for a day or 2 seems to get you pretty far these days. imo is why most people are betrayed. trust is a commodity or mechanic rather than just being trust. For progress it needs to end for when these people are in charge they tend to talk about the past and have no accomplishments to stand on other than their words and some manipulated recall of history.

privilege is an important faceit of society and without it we would not have titles, rewards and incentives that create goals. The problem on the server is that one person is treated horribly compared to another and is locked out of orgs and positions in secret. this is in almost every case based on lies (he always goes inactive when org leader or high rank) or personal beef (2nd hand knowledge not getting to know the person) Privilege can only serve society if it is transparent and fair. in almost every case of priviledge IE: someone returning to be handed council, handed an org, or just promoted from apprentice to darth in two days. become council within a week of being pkd. given a gm rank and doing no events for months straight. if there is no oversight or checks and balances then it is no fair. -there should be consequences for this type of game breaking stuff.

freedom to choose is the most important thing players have. if this is taken from them then it is no longer a game.

my favourite aspect of REBORN is watching other players and participating with them on figuring things out. You get alot of wonder from this server when you log in. Shepard adds tons of new content and the people who are hip to changes research to find an advantage or do it just for fun. In some cases this can take up your 2 to 3 hrs of play for the day. which in itself is fun but to have others who are competing with you makes it feel real. with the tweaks in combat. items. ascension. quest npcs coming up. this has never changed and remains the coolest thing about REBORN. a custom server customized for the community.

Honestly I think there is so much that we can add that can make the server fun and refreshing again for example fixing some stances like fury 1 with snakehilts because it seems to very op right now. A suggestion that I have is to add capture points, it gives players an incentive to want to go to other planets and take over the point, maybe a merchant that sells rare items but is always all around so it’s hard to find him kinda like the emote person on tat, maybe more maps with bosses in them that spawn in every hour or 2 and harder ones that require communication to take down. Personally I think buying a devistator is really bad and I understand why it was a thing to begin with and I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it again I’m perfectly fine getting my devistator taken away as long as I get something else in return I feel like having a regular user having that kind of power is unfair. Lastly I think the levels should be reduced to 180 again because people nowadays have insane build where they have all force 7k hp and still do insane damage with snakehilts and fury 1

I miss having a chance in a PK duel, not to be parried and nearly one shot by a aggressive or fury 1 user

I agree on the devestator part. kind of like batman and joker. Who came first the chicken or the egg? if players can be as strong as faction leader buffs whats the point. i suggested that faction leaders get two devestators but would much prefer no devs unless you are faction leader.

as far as capture points. that is a good idea and we have people like Bant that can code that kind of thing. a quick way of doing this would be a way we can update spawns for items to be higher tier. so the caves would spawn a legendary or 2 withing the timeframe the planet is enhanced. both factions would fight for this as we can arm our fighters and also gices people incentive to be better at combat. we can do this for a couple hours and make the caves a hot place to be. you may be killed. but you may find a epic or legendary crystal.

the snake pike is op and i only lost a handful of times out of 30+ duels using it the last couple of days.

Fury 1 could be slowed to versatile ii speeds. meta forms like fury 3 with dual blade or dual wield blender bae blade makes for a handicap and this could be the reason a newer lvl 255 cannot hang with a returning level 180.

Combat is what sets us apart. no other server is on REBORNs level but as of late...since 4.0 actually there are periods where people just do not want to deal with the street fighter v (thin skill gap) combat.

I believe it should be reduced to 180 and have nerfs on the pikes because even no matter what if you get parried your hp is basically gone and the duel has been won by someone

shepard installs a bunch of base addons from the workshop
i find a conquest, edit the code to optmize a little and shepard tells me its default conquest and never installs it. ill work on it soon but it wont give wos xp or anything, just money

I really dont like how everyone has so much HP and damage i liked it when having 6.5k HP was a tank not 12k and you do 500 a light like my god everyone is OP and i really dont like
