Server sucks taking a break

I kinda haven’t said anything bad ever about the server but at this point I’m sick of it.

Plenty of staff (you know who you are) that are the most biased humans I have ever met and will even go out of there way to ruin the time in the server for their own amusement. I didn’t wanna post this because most people said if I did I would get banned which I was scared off because I had faith that the server would return back to the way it was. At this point in time the server is a joke. The main faction that most of the player base play is being thrown around like a goddamn ball to everyother person the experience isn’t fun anymore. People come on here to have fun and play the server but instead have to deal with toxic kids all day and constant demotions. Working up on this server is literally impossible unless you have the cock of the emperor in your mouth. I know somebody today that got exiled for doing his job as a Sith and defending the throne. The reason he got exiled was because he was “unloyal” you have got to be fucking kidding me. This kid spent hours working his way up spending his LIFE in the server and would even stay up late to finish his work in the server for it to just be wiped away because of a bullshit exile. People who overthrow nowadays just do it cus they want power and don’t even give a fuck about rp. Morale is nobody on this server pretty mouch including the staff team don’t give a flying fuck what happens and only care about if the dollars make it to their pocket. I’ve had enough and I’m not gonna waste my time on a server that doesn’t appeal to the way it became popular from.

-3, ur just bad, goto jedi if you cant deal with exiles... thats the point of sith, the emp has absolute power and can exile who they want for whatever reason. To be honest, idk why emps just exile instead of executing the people, which is in their power aswell.

if you played the server before all these rules were added the person you are talking about would be exiled without reason

There should be VALID Reason not just something that you do just like half of the faction does which is protect the Current Emp

I know this is an LOA post but I just wanna get this off my chest since I feel people like you who want more RP should know this.

This is my 2 cents on your response, from my own experience since the server first started, and the true identity of Reborn JvS.

First of all, wanting power is in the Sith code. You can't really call yourself a Sith and not want power. And of course you need to suck up to the Emperor, arguably the most important thing to the Sith is glory and respect to the Emperor no matter who it is, it's right up there with the Sith code. The Jedi are supposed to be as fair as possible in structure, the Sith are supposed to be as loyal as possible in structure. I'm not saying that there is nothing wrong with the Sith currently, just that... the faction systems and ranking structure was originally designed with RP in mind, and now that RP is not the focus of the server anymore, ranking up isn't as "serious" anymore, so ranks aren't taken as "seriously" anymore. Especially if you can be more powerful as a max level Apprentice against a Lord who just got to his level requirement. For one thing, I can definitely say it is much more toxic than it was years ago, but interestingly I can say the same for other servers, and even other games. I can't really say whether this is due to server decisions, or a shift in gaming culture itself.

The server definitely does not appeal to what it became popular from, but what it became popular from hasn't really been the vision of the server even at the start. Sure it was in demand back then, kind of... not really. Jedi vs Sith was an experiment, while Imperial RP, Clonewars RP and other military style Star Wars RP servers were much more popular, less risky, and easier for development (and still are).The population was no where near it was now. Most days it was lucky to be half full even during the 1.0 days. It was some good RP mostly for those who enjoyed it, and the majority did. However it wasn't Shepard, Moxxi or Miles vision. What the owners really intended for the server to be has recently come into fruition. More based around Star Wars the Old Republic without the turned based mmo combat. And now the current system is more in demand than the prior, because it didn't exist before, but most people enjoy it more than RP. The only problem is replacing the contradictions that cause people to complain about there being no RP in the first place, with a system more compatible with the server's vision.

Starting it as an RP server was necessary because there really was no other option. But now with the technology, progress, and focus WiltOS has made towards the server's vision, it is becoming more as it was intended to be. An immersive more direct control approach to SWTOR. Expect the server to become less "make your own fun and RP" and more "automated" in a sense. With quests and vendors and some things you'd expect from an mmo, while retaining the politics and ranking structures in each faction as well (though... it was intended with RP in mind, it is still important for the server's popularity). And 4.0 (all memes aside) will most likely be the first major step into making it that way. Some issues JvS may still face in the future are, still transitioning from RP to SWTORlite, toxicity, delays (xD), making players care about what they're doing and feel like the time they spend is justified and not too grindy.

As for the staff, I can't say since I don't play on the server anymore.

I forgot Premium in the running for worst left 4 dead player, quite lucky. Overall I would rate you 3rd to worse, also quite mediocre at anything other than modding Xenoverse. 2/10, would participate in basketball again
