Prestige Rolls!

Personally, I like the idea of PK'ing, because then you actually have to work through the levels again, just like from the beginning. Think about something like Call of Duty prestige levels. When you prestige on CoD, you retain any item with an unlock token (Comparison being the items you've gotten previously), but you most important retain all knowledge from your previous leveling.
I meant that I don't want to lose all 6 of my lives :/

+1 This would be very interesting and something to actually play more for. People would play more to grind for the items.

Iroc said somthing about PK events\

I think prestiege could be cool if it was somhow coded in to work with the leveling system.

I also think ancient raids should be raids where if you die you get HardPKd .

or maybe just certain events with high rewards that = a hardPK if you die.

Although it would obviously be cool to actually implement in with the leveling system, I think it would be a much easier, quicker, and simple implementation if you just had to contact a superadmin in game when you were level 250 (or hopefully 200, if they finally lower the level cap so not everyone can max the same three trees).

A prestige system is cool, but PK events sounds like the most aids,toxic,annoying,unneeded...

I could go on all day about why PK events shouldn't exist in any way, shape, or form, but I don't think it's required

Agreed, please DO NOT turn this into a PK event thread. I don't think that that is a good idea in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

Yes but keeping track of prestiege could be a hassal.

Keep in mind tho that A PK event would obviously be optional. Having some crazy rewards might be cool.

True, that would be something that would have to be coded in. Perhaps just a simpler number of stars under someone's name that only a superadmin could set, given that only superadmins could do the prestiges by setting levels and doing the roll.

not to be toxic but it leads to the problem of theres not enough active superadmins on the server to really do that in an efficent manner. I guess shepard is active and some SA but they arent always online.

Also im not sure if they can put stars anywhere other then in a userrank

PK events would be aids because a multitude of reasons. "Accidental" tks, a GM screwing someone up, someone lagging out and dying, people complaining about bosses targeting, etc., etc. It would just lead to a lot of people complaining and demanding their levels back and possibly quitting if they dont get them back.

PK events dont have to be all combat based.

Then what are they going to be a coinflip? If it's completely RP then people could also blame their deaths on the actions of other players and it stems the same arguements.

You can explain why and not be so agressive mr frostburn? I mean the whole topic is subjective.
JS you come off very agressive there
I see a ton of people who I have to explain what pking is. Now imagine people coming to an event, dying, and getting told they're pked. We'd have issues with people logging out, switching names, and other crap. its just not a good system to have. Sorry if I sounded aggressive.

The events are optional, it would be explained clearly. And honestly Id say only lvl 200+ should be allowed in.

With the maze event someone could easily complain about that when it comes to PK as well. "This guy was body blocking me and got me PK'D" or "that guy cheated and used pac or noclipped around to figure out how to do it". PK events in general lead to a bunch of BS so I highly advise against it.

I mean no matter what anyone can complain about anything. I think its overly seen as complicated when It might not actually be like that.

I also feel like if its optional and explained well there would be less complaints.
