Okay so there are tons of people out there who main fury1 and i can confidently say it is one of the best forms in the game (dont hate me). I have been using Fury1 since the day it came out and there were definitely tons of others who did the same. You see Fury1 is almost at the very top of the versatile skill tree so there has to be something special about it compared to agile1 which is at the very bottom of the tree.
Fury1 is what I like to call a delayed stance and I say that because instead of attempting to stab your saber into the enemy's playermodel; instead you try and meet your attack to where the opponent is running so that they run into your blade allowing you to get multiple tick and sometimes minimal damage.
All the Light Attacks in Fury1 make sense
The LeftAttack is good and is delayed so that you need to meet your saber with there playermodel
The RightAttack lasts a bit longer than the LeftAttack and practically does the same thing but in a more curved motion.
The IdleAttack or Forward/BackwardsAttack is not delayed at all and your saber must directly stab the player to land a hit, but nobody moves to the left or right while using a ForwardAttack (hints the name) so it fill its purpose correctly for a great stun punish (after you stun someone immediately IdleAttack to almost guarantee a tick without being counterstunned) so it makes sense.
Fury1 has a very different animation compared to its light attacks except the ForwardAttack and that is pretty much what the Fury1 Heavy Attack is... A Idle/Forward Attack.
Fury1 Heavy compared to a defensive or agile heavy is utterly horrible but comparable when it comes to stun punishes. I say this because if you ever see someone use a agile heavy you will see that the player attempts to circle around you and move in all different directions because there blade can hit you from almost any direction. Same For Defensive heavy you can move and look around to try and get your saber to hit your opponent.
But For The Fury1 Heavy it is pretty much a attack to hit people who arent moving or just jamming their 'alt' key. If you try and move your mouse while doing a fury heavy you will most likely not land a hit or if you try and move to the left or right it will also most likely not land a hit, and if you try and use the heavy just like a Left or RightAttack you will not have success doing so. Don't get me wrong it is great for draining someones stamina if there holding 'alt' or running straight at you(which hardly happens) but a defensive heavy can do all of these things. A lot of people who use Fury1 including myself hardly use the heavy attack because its a waste of stamina if your dueling someone who 'w''a's' and 'd' key aren't broken.
My proposal is to replace the current Fury1 Heavy with a new one that can fit in along with the other attacks and can be used to hit people while moving such as a defensive heavy or agile.
