what kind of motherboard. videocard, ram sticks and cpu do you have. if intel. do like Shepard said about plugging into the motherboard port instead of the video card. your pc maybe underpowered if you have a 500 or below psu

yea my cpu exploded in my pc when i had a 550, then now ive got a 750 and it works amazing
