+1 I change this to a +1 because we shouldn't be trying to have the events make people angry and deliver fun for everyone.

yeah, like out of 20 people in the parkour event only 2 people got rolls lmao+1 Some of the worst behavior i've ever seen from people happens during these parkour events. If you can't ban parkour events, make it so that there is always another event running at the same time so that people don't have to do the parkour for an event.
It’s not like ur forced to go to it+1 Some of the worst behavior i've ever seen from people happens during these parkour events. If you can't ban parkour events, make it so that there is always another event running at the same time so that people don't have to do the parkour for an event.
If someone runs an event and it gets a resoundingly bad reaction from the community I would like to think that the person running said event would either work to remedy people's concerns or try a new idea. With that being said parkour events have been notorious for making people extremely frustrated or angry, it's hard with the tick rate being what it is to get consistent results from jumps onto small props etc. With all this in mind I don't know why parkour events are still run, correct me if I'm wrong but has there been a parkour event recently that hasn't resulted in a large percentage of the participants getting frustrated or angry?
I don't want things to get to the stage where the Super Admins have to dictate what event's gamemasters can or cannot run. Do what people enjoy, and while you may not always run people's favorite events try to throw some variety in there. Have a mix of big and small RP events (not every event has to be some massive boss raid or a huge deal involving 50-60 people). Gamemasters and players can work together to provide an enjoyable roleplay experience to factions/organizations. There's also a variety of other events such as PvP events and smaller mini events for people to just chill out when they're bored with combat combat combat. What I'm getting at is run events that are fun, not punishing and toxic.
Note: I hope that second paragraph doesn't come across as me attacking the gamemasters, because that's not my intention. I've seen them do excellent work. To put it simply, think about how the community has reacted to events previously and if the previous reaction resulted in toxicity/anger consider if it's really a good idea going ahead with that idea.
