Unless I am missing something you were banned for saying Reborn is gay which is a misunderstanding of the scentece structure, I myself had told a staff member to go to u and tell you not to say that in advert. So where in this whole thing does this make Ben a homophobe? I don’t think anyone really goes out of their way to pick on gay’s/furries yet they might not agree with it they still put up with others decisions and kinks

I'm going to apply your logic to something else. If a black person goes on the server and calls a person a "nigga" or "nigger" and if I ban him. Does that make me racist? Yes, I know that punishment was harsh. That's why I removed it. But to call me a homophobe? Feels bad man.

I will say this about the situation, I can see Shade's and Ben's side, I will say that staff should've shut down the flaming, that would've avoided this situation all together. I will also say that banning only 1 person within the entire group was a poor choice as well (I know the punishment was lifted, but it was a poor choice to begin with) and it could initially come off as bias or at least a form of discrimination. Overall this situation comes off as a bit of a "wrong place, wrong time" situation and all that can really come off of this is a reminder towards staff to do their job and check the OOC chat often.

TL: DR - The ban was harsh and initially can come off as a form of discrimination as no one else was punished as severely, staff do your job better and faster, thanks

So essentially I was first concerned with Shade's report seeing as if it were to be discriminatory actions that something must be done. The further I see this post go and the more responses I see from Shade lead me to believe he's not really offended, just mad he had gotten banned. Then decided to make a scene about it and start things. Granted to the staff members who won't stop the toxicity in the community especially in OOC and Adverts, I can assure you it will be dealt with and made to be very clear, any instances of staff members participating or not eradicating the problem, do not have a place on the staff team.
