CC Names (Faction colors)

Should CC name's be banned from using "faction colors" unless associated with said faction?

  • Yes, ban the colors unless part of faction

  • No, allow the colors to be used regardless of faction

Fixed a few things for you, I agree with everyone here, I'm sure it is really annoying to be attacked and sometimes killed by your own faction members because of someone being too lazy to read your name or being too new to know to read your name. I also agree with how it is annoying that players would have to get a rework every time. The only possible solution I can think of is something that would probably cost extra money and be a hassle for Shepard to get. Perhaps making or getting a addon/pluggin/mod/whatever that allows players to edit the color of their name in game? Of course only Staff would have access to this command and perhaps only higher staff so it doesn't get abused. I'm not entirely sure if this would be possible as I'm not too familiar with the files it would mess with and whether or not those files would require a server restart for them to properly apply a name color change, but that's all I can think of.
Pretty sure there is a way Shepard could implement a player shop like how they have it on death run servers and such.

Since the main complaint is reworking the cc upon conversion, the only real way to work it out would be banning the colors, but then there's complaints about that.

If it doesn't create too much work for Atlas, or whoever is doing CC's in the future, the color of a job should be matched to the faction for ease of identification similar to the reason why jedi and sith are not allowed to wear black and brown robes respectively. It causes confusion and can be abused during rp situations. (even if names aren't technically seen in RP)

I can agree with this, I think it would be nice for CC colors to closly match those of the faction, that being said, if one ends up converting you can just change ur RGB color for free anyways so there wont eb any problems there.

My argument wasn't make ALL the jedi CC's blue and ALL the sith CC's Red, my goal was just to not let sith use blue and jedi use red, all other colors are usuable by anyone. At least that was what I was thinking

Then there wouldn't be a point in being able to choose the color when making the CC
