[Serious] Trooper Skill Tree Suggestions

Come here to make all sorts of suggestions for Trooper skill trees. Make suggestions like new tree ideas, new guns, new anything. Go crazy lets all work together to make some pretty cool ideas.

As soon as troopers became viable they were nerfed again, I would say if you want to keep it to the 4 skill boxes per trooper tree, return them to how they were before, or just keep them how they are but add a lot more health and utilities. Any half decent force user can 1 v 1 a trooper and any good force user can pretty easily 2 v 1 troopers. If a really good trooper is only worth 1/2 a good force user then we are basically getting shit canned cause Sith and EE always go to Tat while Jedi just sit around on Tython doing nothing. You basically have to scream at them to go and then they only go once. Troopers and RT in particular are in a unique fighting situation that requires them to leave planets in smaller numbers than force users, as well they are almost always outnumbered, yet with the current way troopers work, they are useless unless they outnumber whatever they are attacking by at least 2 to 1. Troopers need to be more viable in smaller numbers, likely through more health, utilities, and a slight speed buff. Also, troopers need to be more viable RP wise. Within RT especially the RP elements of what it means to be a trooper and separate from the order is lost on many a trooper and jedi alike, Jedi and the Council believe they are in control of every function of the RT. I think a return to the lore between troopers and Jedi would only stand to help the server as we transition to more serious roleplay

Issue with the current trooper skill tree is the lack of customization not in terms of weapons but In terms of character stats after all 180 levels are invested into weapons. It would help to have extra perks to the trooper three where it's optional to add up to 30-35 speed to the tree in increments as well as a skill tree for shield and hp let's say 2000hp and 500armor in increments as well. This will allow for more fluid character building and it makes playing trooper more worth so your not wasting those extra levels since you're able to only invest 180 points as of now.

Edit: maybe add a increase on headshot damage tree to incentivise superior marksmanship or just a damage increase in general

skill trees are fine, maybe add a fifth with everything costing the same to make up the points left over. these things can be universal such as additional hp and armor.

another boost could be troopers shots multiply damage. so if they shoot a afk lord it doesnt take a couple clips to kill them.

so EVERY third shot hit in a row gives a triple damage bonus. this rewards marksmanship
so something like
25 25 75

a good start would be to make troopers skill count with Headshots doing more damage.

commandos
maybe a tase gun that freezes players. kind of like crippling strike.

Carbineer
a cool melle weapon would be interesting, they can parry or block saber attacks.

Sniper
Cortosis blades could disable a lightsaber for a period of time.

To add onto the viability of the trooper maybe allowing troopers to obtain a restraining tools/ something like bolas that temporarly slows and reduces jump height to increase the effectiveness of trooper who have to often overwhelm force users just to ultimately have them run away and force heal and come back before we can medkit.
 
So with the new max level update troopers are going to be way under balanced due to us only having limit of 4 skills we can use. I think it would be better for troopers if possible to bring the old trooper trees back or have side groups so we can put our extra skill points in

Either buff trooper or nurff force users. Cause i can barely fight a 160 sith on my own. back then they were easy. I just want 1000 more HP for command or give us climb swep to what is use to be. Cause i cant to much with what i have now. Unless i have like 3 RT with me. which is hard to get now of days.

troopers are ment to be in groups not 1v1s

they currently cannot keep up with force users subdue them and 3v1 is the only way to go against a 250 force user. even then one trooper will die if the lvl 250 doesnt run away.

lightning and blaster fire should ground you or knockback downward. knocking back < knock down. kill the practice of force jumping and hop before a mini gunned Justice opens up on you.

Rework all the models to have headshot hitboxes and make it so all CCs are required to have them. And that would make headshots do more damage consistently
