Reverse the Update

After spending a few hours contemplating it, I decided to post here on the forums with my concerns on this update we have on the server rather than complaining straight to Shepard, so that I may get multiple opinions on the issues and perhaps a better solution. With this new update, from what I can tell, the goal was to make damage dealers do more damage, tanks take more damage, and force users to do a little more damage, but get nerfed a bit in most aspects. This update has thrown force users under the bus and ran them over a few times for extra measure by forcing force users to become sponges that either do 112 saber damage and use the overpowered force ability in a DAMAGE tree, but also have around 2k health or they become a brick by doing NEGATIVE saber damage if they invest in the Bulwark skill tree. This wouldn't be too big of a deal if this didn't affect the majority of the server and it seems like it does, I can go full tank and damage and still do around 350 damage with over 8000 health or better yet do around 300 damage with 8975 health. I know I get a huge health bonus from being Emperor (700 compared to Champions and Darths), but it is ridiculous that I can even have that much health in the first place, much more for it to be viable and do plenty of saber damage. This update has also started a trend of people going full damage and saving about 15 skill points because if they invest any more skill points they will LOSE something. If people are afraid to even invest their skill points anymore because they lose something in every path they go, something has to be wrong. I believe the maximum damage someone has done is 650 (I'm probably wrong on this) and if this person wants to overthrow me, a force user, they can hit me 3 or 4 times and they won. Congrats. I know there should be some trade off for being a force user, so thats why we don't gain speed in our tree....and lose health.....and lose saber damage. Pretty much force users are getting slammed in every direction and getting buffed in areas that don't need to be buffed. At 197% force I was good to go and never ran out of force. Now I have doubled the force and 1 extra ability because we decided to make affliction do 400 damage with a shorter cooldown than force vampire had, which only does 250 damage and is actually in a force tree. Imagine, most heavies on a person standing still get about 6 ticks, with the update and the damage meta in mind, ONE PLAYER can get about 3900 damage on a single heavy, you're basically 1 shotting every player who hasn't dedicated their life to Bulwark. I know this is just a bunch of complaints, but I don't see a single positive that can come out of this for anyone and I don't think anyone likes the update compared to the previous version. P.S. the "buff" to Fury made the Heavy worse than it was before so please fix it, I mean the ticks on the light are cool and all, but I liked the old heavy also I'm only doing this because I was informed if the community didn't enjoy the update then it would be reversed and I think I'm a member of the community. (Side note that I thought of after I typed all this, in the previous version, Force Users needed actual skill and couldn't just run away and not ignite their saber, they needed to fight both with their saber and their force abilities if they wanted to do well in fighting, but after the update and the big hit to their saber damage, it encourages the cancerous behavior of Force Users to run away and spam force abilities, causing even more hate to us. Please just undo this all already.)

I gotta agree, although there are benefits from the update for some people, I think the basis for skillpoints in game should be to keep it balanced, which is super hard to do without testing, and I think this is exactly that. I was told arrogant was getting buffed, and when i got on, I came to see that i only did about +10dmg (compared to before the event) and i lost like 700hp, and i had to change my build. I think before it was pretty balanced, but I think ther nerfing was too fatal, I think we need to only nerf the obvious things, Like force and defensive, and the health benefits/decreasings need to be changed, but overall, its hard to make a decision
 
-1 there is literally 0 way shepard can undo it except for buffing and nerfing the stuff back the best he can. (I don't think he has a backup) also, this update was meant so you don't hybrid trees as much.
Also shepard is literally in the teamspeak channel right now talking about adjustments.

this update is actually worthless no one said fucking ruin healing thanks dont do that i lost 200 damage and 1000 hp this is a joke

Ok, vick you ruined the server. Only force builds are being used because everything else isn't working. Anyone who uses a force build does 0 damage and everyone is using one. I 100% blame you for this I believe this update should not have went out at all. Before it was either full tank or full damage but now it's either full force with 0 damage or you run away from the wave of 10 force users chasing you on tat.

-3 I agree that they need to be touched up a little more balance between them, but I really do think the server needs a big meta change right now, combat has been stale for months
 
Well I gotta say the tank stuff is absoloutley ridicoulous. How I have 9075 hp and only do 64 dmg with a heavy. I gotta say somethings wrong chief. The healing stuff was kinda uncool too. Healers are now kinda nontanky and should get a bit more of a buff. The Tank stuff is ridicoulous btw.
 
I don't think it should be removed but it needs to be HEAVILY tweaked, this tank shit is blatantly retarded. It's literally glass cannon 101 up in this meta
