Hey doods I have played a lot of reborn jvs in the past but haven't played in a long time but I never really made a review on it. I figured that since I spent a lot of time on this server I would write a review. Keep in mind I played in 3.0 so this may not apply to newer versions.
1. The first somewhat good thing about jvs is the pvp system which is surprisingly good for gmod although the person with defensive and better ping would win it was still fun to improve your skills and get better. Although I liked the 2 hour fights I do think fights should max take 2 minutes don't know if Shepard changes it or not but let me know.
2. The roleplay experience was pretty fun but at times people could be really mingy while others super serious which by all means it doesn't say serious rp but people would roleplay seriously which would sometimes split the community I personally think there should've been non serious rp orgs and heavy rp orgs even though technically there was it still felt serious.
3. The Sith council was ran by morons probably still is don't join work hard in your org instead it feels much more rewarding and you don't have to deal with yes men who suck off the emperor, I apologize if these points are not valid to this day. Now I wanted to be the council rank in org and when I got it I instantly regretted it I felt so much pressure to preform well it fricked me physically and mentally. So if you want a chill life stay out of council.
4. The staff team was pretty fun but really annoying at some times because I would work my ass off moderating the server at night for hours dealing with more trouble makers because they think they can do whatever at night I don't know if it's still like this but it seemed like no matter how hard you work it doesn't matter unless you take sits during peek hours and stuck off the super admins. I remember wanting to rank up but I was always so busy during the peek hours so I was only on during downtime so I was always working hard during those hours when I'm the only staff member on. Even though I would be on for 8 hours straight it meant nothing to anyone, but if you spend just 2 hours during peek hours and uptime that's when it felt like the staff team cared. The only reason I didn't tell super admins I was doing all the work at night is because it would make me look like a bitch who just wants a rank lmao, but sometimes I just needed a good job to keep me going but I wouldn't even get that, I think the super admins are really great people especially charger that guy is a sweetheart no homo, but I never felt appreciated because no one was there to witness all the work and effort I put out. This is not a server problem this is a me problem. So to wrap this up all I got to say is have fun being staff don't try to hard take it back and relax sometimes you deserve it, don't worry if you miss one day there is always others, don't be like me who gets addicted and always needs to be on or else I get anxiety, thank you super admins and Shepard y'all are great. Maybe things have gotten better since 3.0 so forgive me.
Reborn gaming is the best Garry's model server change my mind, one of the most fun experiences ever the people can get to you but it's important to hangout with people who respect who you are, never try to suck someone off like me, it only makes the experience worse. But the thing I like the most is some of the people who have given me fun memories who I could call family. If your new plz take some of my warnings it will make your life easier. I don't know why after months of not playing decided to make this but if you feel offended I'm sorry I just felt like voicing my opinion and getting all the negatives out of my head so I can look back in only the good memories.
