It doesn’t work and it is a poor system.

Since we are a supposed to be a democracy it doesn’t make sense because it makes votes unequal. By having arbitrary state lines drawn by people that make someone’s vote worthless in some states. Rather then having the votes count nationally and making votes all equal.

I live in California and it’s unfortunate that somone who lives in Rhode Island has a vote 5x more valuable then mine.

Its like this because each state gets a certain amount of reps and senators and each state had a maximum and minimum. If the population is different enough than that maximum is a smaller ratio than the minimum.

Like 1/64 to 1/2 or rather 54/546 to 1/2.

-Staff get +2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s
-Players don’t get to vote for important stuff, just stuff in staff meetings
(Caitlyn just said that the staff team doesn’t work, and is a poor system 👍)

america doesnt call herself a democracy, but rather a democratic republic. the reason for this is because it encompasses the two political philosophy from some of the greatest empires ever, ancient greek, a pure democracy, and ancient rome, a republic. when you hear things like "we fight to bring democracy" what they really mean is they fight so that citizens can have a say. also, a pure democracy would not work in america because the 5 highest populated states would be able to beat out all other 46 states (DC counts as well). Why would any president care about what wyoming or virginia has to say? literally just get the votes from california, new york, texas and florida and ur good. also also, the amount of representatives from a single state is determined off of the population of a state. for example, california has 53, and wyoming has 1. we are the United States of america not the united people. the reason why america wouldnt work in a pure democracy much like other countries is because of our population. out of the top 10 populated countries in the world, none of them are a pure democracy. and I mean literally none. theres a reason why these countries use some form of republic (except for china, they're literal commies) and not a pure democracy. pure democracy is mob rule. if 10 people get together and 5 decide they want to eat someone, everyone else has a choice, either join the 5 people, or run the risk of getting eaten. the kind of choice that would be made here is quite simple.
