ITS TIME TO STOP

So what I've noticed in the past 4-5 days, there have been more auctions than events. There has been an auction everyday for like the past 4 days. There should be a set time once a week or just once every other week. People won't be able to get items quickly enough to sell them instantly at an auction and I believe instead of hosting an auction there can be an event that everyone will have fun with. Thinking about it as I write this post, there might have been auctions 3 days in a row and 2 auctions held in one day about 4 hours apart. I propose that we set a schedule for auctions such as maybe, one auction a week at maybe Satuday, 3pm EST so that everyone can be online. However as I have seen with GM's trying to host an event on a schedule doesn't work out because they get bored of it (talking about bounty hunter event). I'm just tired of seeing someone swap to a boss job, get excited for an event then see them change their name to Auctioneer (X).

I don’t even go to auctions unless Croc or someone is selling an arti, it is just a bunch of people yelling and being annoying and selling overpriced hilts and blueprints. I would much rather limit auctions to 3 a week then have one every single day

I still think three a week is too many I remember how great it was when we went like a full 2 weeks without one then the first one back so much good stuff was being sold

As a T-GM I also notice that there are a noticible heavier amount of auctions over actual events

I mean I’m not just missing all of the events right or was the only one held yesterday was an auction and Tater’s ship event

When players are constantly asking for auctions daily and more accurately hourly they tend to get run by gamemasters wanting to provide what the community wants. There have been 4-6 events daily not counting the auctions that large amounts of players came to during the days in question. I won't be implementing a schedule and gms already know about not frequently hosting them consecutive days normally, but at the same time im not going to stop them from providing the community with something that they are asking for. Especially when they are only held during a lull in rp between factions and events to pass some time

In addition you may have missed the regular events by either not going to them or just not being online or not paying attention to advert rp.

See attached picture of the third request for an auction today within the span of 2 hours from different people.
