Hey Lets Not Give Whiskey Admin

As many people know whiskey converted his rank of senior game master to admin.This was quite sudden for the rest of the community but it was supposedly a decision between all the super admins (except a few).I'm here to say a few quick things

Whiskey has never been a administrative staff over moderator or at all.He converted from a rank that did events and controlled over a few game master to a role that controls most of the staff team.This is after whiskeys activity dropped over the past while (talk shit on my activity all you want) but he supposedly proven himself for admin.Whiskeys events have dropped in quantity(he has done 0 in October and November and only 2 in September) and i have only seen a few game masters in the past while when he was senior gamemaster. Maybe giving whiskey senior mod which just take sits but he was given a rank that many other people have gone through administrative staff for.Many other senior game masters and game masters in general have converted there rank to the lowest rank (i.e Windu,Savage) who converted from senior gm to MODERATOR not ADMIN.Finally Whiskey also did not make a application for the rank switch it just went through the high staff which is not a bad thing but still it seems like minimal effort was shown in at least my eyes.

Jokes on you there's only 3 SAs so if a few were missing then they all are.
Jokes aside, I have nothing against Whiskey he seems like a good guy but I completely agree the difference between the duties of Senior Gamemaster and Admin is immense and maybe Senior Mod or normal Mod would be a better place to start.

I agree with what @Dickolas Dan has said. I believe that the admin position is not equivalent to a senior gamemaster. Especially if you haven't had previous staffing experiences.

I agree with Loody, I was SGM at one point and when i was GM and i wanted to go for admin iwas told to go for tmod first and work the way through the ranks like everyone else (which i agreed with)

I asked to transfer over to staff, no specific rank, also asking if it was better for me to just apply on the forums. I left it up to Shepard and the SuperAdmins to make that choice. I wouldn't care if I was put to T-mod.

Personally, I do agree with the fact that Whiskey was not active for a while. I believe there are several steps to achieve Admin Whiskey did not go through. Nothing against Whiskey, I know he can handle the workload. But I would not agree that he earned it 'fairly'.

Whiskey was a moderator back in 2.0 but left on poor terms with the staff team. Came back and got Senior Gamemaster two separate times.
He knows the rules as well as I do. He's been active and playing the server consistently for a while now. The only times I've seen you on the server in the past two weeks are you loading in as AFK Loob then sitting there for hours while you play ARK in the background. Savage switched from t-gm to moderator without having to apply. Whiskey asked to switch to administrative staff and they gave him admin, he didn't ask for admin, but he was placed on trial anyways because the super admins wanted to give him a chance. While I don't agree with him being given admin right off the bat, I also don't see a problem with it.

No matter how much people think it's not fair or they don't agree with Whiskey getting Admin right of the bat, then it's the super admins decision. If they find Whiskey capable of being switched from Senior Gamemaster to Administrator then it's their choice. However. I do not agree with it, and I have my own opinion on the matter as well as others do, and I don't really know if I mind it besides that I know for a fact that there is other staff member who work their asses off, and are constantly active on the server who might deserve it more. The situation would of have been different if he was set to a low moderator rank but I just hope he will do a good job and keep hes activity consistent. Good luck Whiskey

I agree to an extent, while the decision is done and all power to whiskey for having this, I feel perhaps it's a tad bit higher than I was expecting! My only concern is for whiskey himself, If I need to escalate something then I need to be sure he knows how to handle it, if the SA's are happy with it and he feels he can take the position then good luck to him on his trail.

after community feedback i decided to move whiskey to sr.admin up from admin.
