Greetings fellow reborn gamers, I have come to bitch about the current state of the skill tree/dueling. Recently I was Pk’ed by a right click warrior in which I was forced to PK duel with force, when I had no force. Which is not why I am writing here but that is a part of it. Force powers have way too much impact for the level of skill they require, I know with the Star Wars theme and all force powers are an essential part of a good and immersive RP, but for someone who spends a lot of time perfecting hitboxes, learning movement patterns, predicting what opponents are going to do, Mastering stances, and knowing what to do when fighting another stance, I do not get the reward I deserve for the amount of practice I put in. This is all because of Force builds. They ruin the combat system which is what the whole server is based around. Force powers/builds were broken before but with the recent patch they have grown into a larger tumor. This is because the new skill tree, it rewards damage builds more than Tank builds because of the fucking colossal amount of damage nerfs you get for going up Bulwark. And than when you have a damage build you only have around 3-4K health a Force user can literally burst you down for 700 Health every 15 seconds and than preside to back petal like a champion without even igniting their lightsaber is absolutely bananas.
I have a few Ideas on how to fix this:
1. Put speed nerfs on the force powers
I.E
When you get lighting strike you get -5 speed and so forth for every forcepower
2. Buff speed at the top of Blademaster/Blade Dancer trees
3. Buff Health on the skills that give -health
4. Make them do wayyyyy less damage but cost less force
5. Increase the cool downs
My second thing I would like to address is the state of defensive, I have spent way to much time trying to learn hitboxes with this stance and being able to get 3 ticks a heavy without a parry took a lot of time to learn. You would be surprised how high the skill cap is with defensive users. Everyone who has mastered defensive will literally merk anyone, the stance took a lot of practice to use efficiently as you can literally just jump over it. Even when you are spamming you have to make sure you are aiming correctly, not getting hit while in animation, and managing your stamina correctly and timing your heavy. I will admit heavy spam is aids but you can literally do the same thing with any stance. The heavy was not broken in anyway compared to a stance like aggressive 1 which is a hard counter. Just because the 0.2 doesn’t sound like a lot, the animation is not consistent at all anymore. You will get a tick one time and than you won’t get it the next time and you can’t punish light spam anymore because max ticks you get per heavy is like 3. Combined with the dual saber nerf this stance is unusable. Please fix the stance.
