Current Skill Tree/ Dueling thoughts

Greetings fellow reborn gamers, I have come to bitch about the current state of the skill tree/dueling. Recently I was Pk’ed by a right click warrior in which I was forced to PK duel with force, when I had no force. Which is not why I am writing here but that is a part of it. Force powers have way too much impact for the level of skill they require, I know with the Star Wars theme and all force powers are an essential part of a good and immersive RP, but for someone who spends a lot of time perfecting hitboxes, learning movement patterns, predicting what opponents are going to do, Mastering stances, and knowing what to do when fighting another stance, I do not get the reward I deserve for the amount of practice I put in. This is all because of Force builds. They ruin the combat system which is what the whole server is based around. Force powers/builds were broken before but with the recent patch they have grown into a larger tumor. This is because the new skill tree, it rewards damage builds more than Tank builds because of the fucking colossal amount of damage nerfs you get for going up Bulwark. And than when you have a damage build you only have around 3-4K health a Force user can literally burst you down for 700 Health every 15 seconds and than preside to back petal like a champion without even igniting their lightsaber is absolutely bananas.

I have a few Ideas on how to fix this:
1. Put speed nerfs on the force powers
I.E
When you get lighting strike you get -5 speed and so forth for every forcepower
2. Buff speed at the top of Blademaster/Blade Dancer trees
3. Buff Health on the skills that give -health
4. Make them do wayyyyy less damage but cost less force
5. Increase the cool downs

My second thing I would like to address is the state of defensive, I have spent way to much time trying to learn hitboxes with this stance and being able to get 3 ticks a heavy without a parry took a lot of time to learn. You would be surprised how high the skill cap is with defensive users. Everyone who has mastered defensive will literally merk anyone, the stance took a lot of practice to use efficiently as you can literally just jump over it. Even when you are spamming you have to make sure you are aiming correctly, not getting hit while in animation, and managing your stamina correctly and timing your heavy. I will admit heavy spam is aids but you can literally do the same thing with any stance. The heavy was not broken in anyway compared to a stance like aggressive 1 which is a hard counter. Just because the 0.2 doesn’t sound like a lot, the animation is not consistent at all anymore. You will get a tick one time and than you won’t get it the next time and you can’t punish light spam anymore because max ticks you get per heavy is like 3. Combined with the dual saber nerf this stance is unusable. Please fix the stance.

Roll the server back to the old skill tree, get rid of this cancer one but keep the lowered stamina regeneration so they can't heavy spam as much as they could before and the server would be a million times better. Also unfuck my Fury 1, it was already hard to use, because people could just parry spam but now it does 1/2 if not less than 1/2 the amount of ticks it used to, you basically fucked all the ticks on it too, they're unpredictable and 10x harder to hit your opponent and get trashed on by everyone your level.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, the point of force is to not use your saber, it doesn’t matter if you do -dmg. And they wouldn’t be useless, they just wouldn’t be able to melt as much. I don’t want all of them implemented just 1 or 2
 
Here's my perspective on the whole take:
Currently what's broken with force isn't the speed as anyone who goes force will quickly realize that they basically have 2 cement blocks tied to their feet as they travel the speed of a Roomba. What's broken is what this update has awakened inside people, if they go tank and full force they because an unstoppable force of over 8000 health with no saber damage. Since the force using tanks do no saber damage they become warriors who tie their right click down and unleash a torrent of force abilities at you while rejuving teammates and healing themselves. From the recent fights on Tat. anyone can see that rejuv can make fights last for hours with very few casualties, those who die are because bad healers or because they are low levels. Any decent player with a decent healer won't die, no matter the odds. I fought against 20+ people today with a 3 way circle jerk of healers (including myself) and never died because of how disgusting rejuv is. My main healer, Draconian, has around 7500 health and never dropped below 6800 (while he was with me) because of
A. As a healing tank (with some speed on the side) he has no real damage output, so he has no real reason to risk himself trying to attack someone
B. Rejuv heals for a long time and only truly has about a 2 or 3 second cooldown between actually being healed
C. Rejuv heals for an insane amount during it's long duration
With all of this in mind, anyone being rejuv'd is basically seen as God and can't be hurt, if two people with Rejuv are healing each other, run. There is no way to stop these freaks of nature. With all of this said I would like to point out that simply nerfing speed of force users wouldn't solve anything, after all neither force tree provides movement speed and if they player decides to go tank too they receive no movement speed. Meanwhile all other trees receive quite a bit of movement speed are able to kill a force user that went even a little into anything besides force and tank with 1 or 2 heavies considering the new heights damage can reach with this update. The main solution to force users being OP is to simply nerf rejuv overall as it heals for more damage than a force user can deal, even if the force user had half of it's current cooldowns on vampire and lightning strike. With rejuv nerfed, force tanks that have no movement speed will still be able to stay alive for a short time, but then get destroyed once someone catches up to them. With rejuv gone from force builds that invest into damage and speed, any simply mistake will be life threatening and could lead to a quick death. Nerfing speed of the already slow force users would ruin force builds as they have already been severely nerfed (in all aspects except healing and the amount of force we have), compared to my build from before the update I have lost 1000 health, I do 100 less saber damage, and I have gotten slower overall as speed is now spread out throughout trees. The huge rise in saber damage of everyone who isn't a force user and the decline of the force user's saber damage makes matters much worse for us, so taking away our speed even more would be drastic. Honestly, the only things from this update I despise is the insane amount of damage (from sabers) and the insane amount of healing (Mostly from rejuv. but normal heal is starting to get ridiculous as well.)
In regards to defensive, from what I can tell the heavy is a lot shorter than 0.2 seconds, but I'm probably wrong since I didn't use it a crazy amount of time. Regardlesss you answered your own question for why it was nerfed when you stated "Everyone who has mastered defensive will literally merk anyone " as there was no true counter to it, since it seemed to out range everything, get more ticks than everything, and was used offensively despite being called Defensive. Maybe I'm just stupid or something, but from how you described your management of Defensive, "Even when you are spamming you have to make sure you are aiming correctly, not getting hit while in animation, and managing your stamina correctly and timing your heavy. ", it sounds like what every other stance does except you're better in every aspect because Defensive was weird. I understand how you feel with your favorite form of attacking people being nerfed, but that's how all force users feel currently and you just seem to want to nerf them more overall as opposed to the real problem, which is rejuv.

" is kind of a joke itself. Damage builds can out damage force builds with a single tick from their heavy and most of the time you're going to hit more than one tick on someone with no speed buffs. Let's say you hit two ticks with your heavy, congrats you took away half of a force user's health instantaneously with 1 attack. As a damage dealer you will easily out damage even the most competent of force users simply for the fact that you're faster than them and your saber damage is insane. It would take a force user 3 sets of cooldowns to do as much damage as you did with your heavy, you should also factor in the time the force user is spending trying to avoid your hits, switching abilities, trying not to get trapped, etc. Basically the only advantage force users have is that they have a set amount of damage that will hit SOMETHING (since the targeting system is a bit wonky it'll probably be your teammate) over a period of time while damage dealers have a HUGE amount of damage they can dish out without any guarantee that it will work. The only thing that can close this gap is skill, a skilled force user still needs to be careful around a new damage dealer because any mistake will lead to instant death. A skilled damage dealer can EASILY destroy a new force user as they don't know anything about how much they have to dodge and weave to compensate for speed and how fast a damage dealer can catch up to a force user. All in all, making our set amount of damage less AND wanting us to do no saber damage is a real kick to the dick and I'm surprised you hate us that much. Same for increased cooldowns, you can already out damage us, and outrun us, what more do you want? Use affliction if you want to be a real dick. I would also like to state that buffing the already OP damage dealers isn't the solution to force users, as you're already 2 fast 4 me, so giving a few skill trees more speed would be horrible for force users and giving more health would just prolong the fights that take 10 years because of rejuv.

All in all, nerf rejuv. (and healing in general), defensive was broken, so keep it the way it is, and don't screw over force users anymore. Appreciate it.

I forgot to mention, to lessen the gap between force users and damage dealers, force users can sacrifice gaining 5000 health from bulwark where they can run away and spam force some more for 100 something saber damage, so unless you want backpedaling force tanks that actually want to be able to fight without only force, don't lessen our damage some more.

My problem is tank/force builds and than leaping away, when you combine dmg/force it is pretty balanced because the health is the same but speed is nerfed. But when you have a ball of aids leaping around with group heal, lighting strike and 8k health is when the real cancer begins.

Exactly, but there's no real way to nerf them without destroying normal force builds unless there was a nerf to Bulwark overall for speed, but that would cause a lot of controversy.

Just put stronger force negatives on the juggernaut tree. Force Users legit might as well not have a saber, Troopers counter us.

i would just like to remind that versatile was nerfed in this update, you need -15 dmg and -200 hp to get versatile...
